New Zealand wants to give Pakistan a taste of their own medicine by introducing spin in the form of Daniel Vettori in the third and final test at Sharjah.

Vettori is a left arm spinner who has the ability to level the three match test series 1-1. New Zealand lost the first test by 248 runs in Abu Dhabi while they drew the 2nd test in Dubai. They want to reply Pakistan spin attack in the same way as Daniel has outstanding test record of 360 wickets in 112 matches. 

Hughes in critical state after struck by bouncer.

Australian batsman Phil Hughes was hit by bouncer on head in Sheffield Shield game against New South Wales. 

He was carried in stretcher to the ambulance and sent to the hospital in critical condition. He was put on life support at St. Vincent hospital.

Later on according to media he has gone through emergency surgery. The results of it will be accessible after 24 - 48 hours as Hughes is currently in induced coma.

SC condemns BCCI and raised question about conflict of interest.

Supreme Court stated there is no difference between IPL and BCCI because IPL is a variant of BCCI. SC said BCCI head also owns an IPL team CSK that responds to the conflict of interest. SC added that the official of CSK is involved in betting so N. Srinivasan must answer question regarding conflict of interest.

SC further added the court has absolute belief in the Justice Mudgal's committee report. SC wants to remove sport fixing while they also criticized the biased action of BCCI against their heads who looked involved in IPL cheat.

Australia beats South Africa 4-1 in ODI.

Australia beats South Africa in a hectic 5th ODI match to jump to the first spot in ICC ODI Rankings. South Africa destroyed the middle order of Australia but still they fought till the end to grab a two wickets victory by D/L method.

Australia won the 5 match odi series 4-1 against South Africa. They will be hosting the upcoming 2015 world cup. The victory ahead of the WC will help them play positive and aggressive cricket on the same grounds.

South Africa batted first and left a winning target of 281. Australia in reply took a genuine start with Watson's 82, Finch's 76 and Smith's 67. Later on their middle batting order could not even reach double figures. They gradually lost wickets but still survived to win the game by 2 wickets in the final over.

Australia will encounter aggressive India.

For the first time India will tour Australia for Test matches without great Legends like Sachin, Dravid, Laxman, Ganguly, Kumble and Sehwag. Fearless Virat Kohli determined to play aggressive cricket against Australia.

Kohli said, "It has to be caution with aggression. First priority is to be positive and aggressive and then dictate terms when we can. The intent has to be positive and aggressive. We obviously will have plan B's and C's to fall back on."

Shehzad & Maqsood out of ODI, Sohaib out of T20.

Pakistan have lost two of their talented youngsters, Sohaib Maqsood and Ahmed Shehzad for the upcoming one day series against New Zealand due to fitness concern.

Ahmed Shehzad got fracture in his cheek bone during the first test match against New Zealand at Abu Dhabi.

Pakistan Cricket Board said that Shehzad was inspected by Professor Abid Ashar, who is a Maxillofacial surgeon. Shehzad will be treated conservatively for this treatment that will take time to heal. He has been advised not to contact sports for about six weeks. Though Shehzad can start his physical work out from coming week.

According to PCB statement, Sohaib Maqsood injured his wrist while playing for Pakistan A, against UAE, last month. Due to this injury he will not participate in upcoming one day and twenty20 series against New Zealand.

The hectic 2nd test match between Pakistan and New Zealand finally ended up in draw. Pakistan was close to the chase as New Zealand left a target of 261 on day 5. 

New Zealand batted first and took first inning lead of 10 runs. They declared their 2nd inning after 250-9.

Pakistan top batting order struggled with bat but Younus and Shafiq steady the line-up. Pakistan team managed to post 196-5 before the day ended. The 2nd test match between Pakistan and New Zealand at Dubai, resulted in draw.
