ICC Test, ODI, T20 Rankings:
After a healthy fixture of cricket in various countries and some still playing their bilateral tournaments, we have organized ICC Test, ODI and T20 rankings in this article. Cricket lovers have seen some ups and downs in ranking in ODI and T20 while India has still retained its number 1 spot in ICC test ranking after taking it over from Pakistan. A margin of 12 points to Australia will ensure that they will stay no. 1 for quite a while. South Africa claimed number 1 ICC ODI team ranking after beating New Zealand in bilateral ODI series. Proteas are only 1 point ahead of Australia. West Indies were white washed by England on their home turf, resulting in losing 1 rating (84) which makes them sit outside automatic qualification for 2019 ICC World Cup. Pakistan is ranked at number 8 in ODI, only 5 ratings better than West Indies. New Zealand is still number 1 ICC T20 team, Kiwi's are 3 ratings ahead of India. Afghanistan recent whitewashed of Ireland ensured that they stay in contention of being in top 10 T20 teams in ICC T20 ranking. Surprisingly they are still ahead of Bangladesh by 12 ratings.
India dominance in Test ranking continued ON after leveling ongoing test series against Australia. Pakistan slipped down the ranking tremendously after losing no. 1 test ranking place to India. From number 1, Pakistan is number 6 best test team in world, just above Sri Lanka, West Indies, Bangladesh and Zimbabwe. Australia, South Africa and England are 2nd, 3rd and 4th best test teams in ICC rankings.
Will Pakistan qualify for automatically for World Cup 2019 depends on their future encounter of West Indies. Both teams are in strong position of losing their automatic qualification compare to Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. Unfortunately Pakistan and West Indies has played enough ODI's in past few months but failed to win much. West Indies is ranked at number 9, with 84 ratings, Pakistan is ranked at number 8 with 89 ratings, Bangladesh is ranked at number 7 with 91 ratings and Sri Lanka is in safe zone with 98 ratings and number 6 ranking in ICC ODI ranks.
